Does American Economic power have a leg to stand on?
Voters must realize that our economic power is partially standing on a borrowed leg. the automotive business model relys on on over 90%( estimated ) of it's retail customers to borrow money on a depreciating asset. We do borrow money for a home, and then, in certain markets, we experience depreciation, or market dip, or whatever term of the day is chosen to describe the movement of today's value.
You and I have a fundamental daily choice or response to economic changes, and we must know our limits or suffer the consequences, a reduction in purchasing power. Our government should be no different, and yet, we have let unprincipled, extremists lead us down the rosy path of status, and excess through borrowing. My fellow citizens, an opportunity for change is here now, today, as one recent example, TBP, a billionaire has moved over 1.4 million of us to sign on to energy changes we needed, He has an idea, just one, get us off of our dependence on foreign oil. This too will stabilize our economic power for our grandkids and beyond. Where on earth is the rest of us? What are we thinking?
There are over 154 million of us contributing to the over 13 trillion dollar in gross domestic product, and over 2 trillion in public revenues, and just as we have a responsibilty to not only restrain our personal spending, we must be vigilant over our governments as well.
How, about almost 1 trillion in deficit public spending, how stable is that? You and I can change that!
Money will follow and Idea and hard work. Americans are not afraid of hard work, and today, all we need is the inspiration of a good idea. You can call it a spark of genius, so I challenge each of you, do it, be one, have one, work hard at it, be inspired and make a difference, today. Flex the great American Economic might, one idea, one job or two, hard work today, get going, Yes, you, get up, move it, think it, and change it.
Power, Powerful, the one hundred and fify plus million workers, the unemployed, the entreprenuers, gather together, brainstorm, right where you are, inspire each other, do not wait on Washington DC. Shock us, spark us with your best, do not wait for perfect, be good today and share it. Get it started, the American economy, today, yes , it has one day at a time, too. I thank colleagues, Sam, and Tom for inspiring me yesterday and today. I did my research, realized my data was outdated, and did a little current events, and here we are, talking about ideas that work. I heard once, a quote " most good ideas are missed because they look too much like work", okay maybe I heard it more than once. It is true, our greatest american successes, even the ones not in the history books are about an idea, and the persistence of hard work.
Profits, Non-Profits, Corporations big and small, right on down to where the sole proprieter moves a sale or service, America's power is right where it has always been, in your hands, in my hands, and the hands of over 150 million others who get up and join us today, by the sweat of our brow and move this 13 trillion dollar machine one day forward.
I am a witness, a co-worker, and entreprenuer, who makes this plea to each of you, become the next great idea, it just takes a little work. Volunteer for experiences which will enrich your inspiration, properly acknowledge your increase, watch your effort become contagious. America's economic power can be likened to a candle in your home, it has to be lit. I hope and pray I have ignited something in you this Monday, which will lift your hope, cause you to aim a little higher, as one brother shared with me.
Get started, Get going, fire it up, focus it on, and make it great America! Volunteer!
